Egypt on Saturday affirmed coordinated efforts to conserve environment and protect water quality at Lake Nasser in the wake of the accident.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Petroleum Engineer Moataz Atef, confirmed that an emergency plan was activated immediately after receiving a report of a barge capsizing in the Jabal al-Zeit area of the Gulf of Suez.
