Microbus Truck Crash
Ambulances rushed to the scene, transferring the deceased to the morgue and admitting the injured to Tiba Specialized Hospital for treatment.
The tragedy unfolded at the Regional Ring Road in Ashmun city on Friday and has deeply affected the public with most of the victims aged between 14 and 23 years. The deceased included 18 young women and the microbus driver, who lost their lives while en route to work.
The deceased, along with two other injured laborers, were transported to nearby hospitals. Most, if not all, of the victims were aged between 14 and 23 years.
