Egypt on Saturday affirmed coordinated efforts to conserve environment and protect water quality at Lake Nasser in the wake of the accident.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it is closely monitoring the incident, which involved 50 irregular migrants, including 21 Egyptians, three of whom have died and 18 remain missing.
All the tourists aboard the tourist submarine that sank off the coast of Hurghada in the Red Sea were Russians.
