Ultimatum
Trump is repeating his threats to target Iranian infrastructure, including bridges and power plants, to pressure Tehran to reopen the strait, through which a fifth of the world’s oil passed before the war, and to reach a deal.
Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said on X that if Iran’s infrastructure is attacked, vital infrastructure across the region, including energy and desalination plants, would be considered legitimate targets and “irreversibly destroyed.”
Trump warned that he is “sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job” if Hamas does not return all captives taken from Israel on 7 October 2023, including the deceased.
