Israel kills dozens of Palestinians every day in Gaza and has started the “initial” stage of conquering Gaza City, home to hundreds of thousands of people, and reoccupy the entire enclave.
Hamas condemned the airstrike on a building in the city’s Rimal neighborhood, saying in a Telegram post that dozens of civilians fell casualty, including fatalities and injured, as the strike targeted a populated building.
“Extending the first phase in the formulation proposed by the [Israeli] occupation is unacceptable to us,” said Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem. “The occupation is evading its commitment to end the war and withdraw completely from Gaza.”
