Spain's King Felipe VI held meetings with Senate Speaker Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek and House of Representatives Speaker Hanafi Gebali during his visit to Cairo on Wednesday.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and King Felipe VI of Spain emphasized the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of captives and detainees, while warning of the consequences of Palestinian displacement plans.
“We look forward to President Trump playing the role we expect from him to achieve this long-awaited goal of establishing a Palestinian state that lives alongside Israel, and to see peaceful coexistence among all peoples in the Middle East,” Sisi said.
