Israel kills dozens of Palestinians every day in Gaza and has started the “initial” stage of conquering Gaza City, home to hundreds of thousands of people, and reoccupy the entire enclave.
Hamas condemned the airstrike on a building in the city’s Rimal neighborhood, saying in a Telegram post that dozens of civilians fell casualty, including fatalities and injured, as the strike targeted a populated building.
"We announce that we have lost contact with the group holding soldier Edan Alexander after a direct strike targeted their location, and we are still trying to reach them until this moment."
Abu Obaida, spokesman for Hamas' military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, announced on Friday that they will not move the captives from these zones but will keep them under “strict security measures that are extremely dangerous to their lives.”
