Newspapers and websites affiliated with the United Media Services (UMS) company announced they will no longer cover activities, events, or social occasions involving TikTok and other social media influencers.
The tour included Cairo, Giza, Luxor and Hurghada, with the aim of promoting Egypt's tourism offerings via social media platforms.
The influencers came from Japan, Spain, Germany, Egypt and Kuwait.
They will visit a number of tourist and archaeological destinations in the cities of Egypt during the coming period, in order to promote them to their followers highlighting the customs and traditions of the local communities, the handicrafts and the heritage.
