Heat Relief
Cairo will experience daytime highs of 37-38 degrees Celsius, while Alexandria will enjoy a pleasant 31 degrees, perfect for a vacation, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
No relief from the heat is in sight until Sunday.
Alongside the heat, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts windy conditions in Cairo, the North Coast, and southern Egypt from Saturday to Monday.
Temperatures even surpassed the 40-mark in Upper Egypt, with the southern areas –home to the charming Luxor and Aswan– currently boiling at 43 degrees.
Throughout the next week, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts daytime temperatures in Cairo and the Nile Delta to hover between 32 and 34 degrees in the shade.
