Egypt and Sudan on Thursday reaffirmed their rejection of any unilateral measures in the Eastern Nile Basin that could harm their water interests, urging Ethiopia to abandon such actions.
"Sudan is deeply concerned about Ethiopia decision to start filling the GERD reservoir in the absence of an agreement" read the letter.
In 2010, Egypt froze its membership in Nile Basin Initiatives due to debatable articles in Entebbe Agreement.
