The Ministry of Health in Egypt has announced an escalation in preparedness levels at hospitals located near desert roads and highways across the country in anticipation of any emergencies during the New Year and Christmas celebrations.
The Egyptian Ministry of Health has announced screening more than 34.7 million women under Egyptian President’s Egyptian Women's Health Initiative for early detection and treatment of breast cancer, which was launched in 2019.
The Ministry of Health announced on Saturday a drop in caesarean sections to 61 percent over January and February this year in Egypt after it had spiked to 72 percent in 2021, leading the country to occupy the first place worldwide in this regard.
The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population will launch 9 medical convoys within the initiative of the President of the Republic "Haya Karima" for free examination and treatment in various medical specialties.
This is the lowest daily coronavirus count recorded by the country since 18 January amid a significant drop in cases over the past days.
On Monday, the ministry has explained to people the steps to follow if they contract coronavirus.
“So far, the U.S. has delivered more than 21 million high-quality U.S. vaccine doses that will help protect the people of Egypt from coronavirus,” the statement read.
The European Medicine Agency’s (EMA) COVID-19 task force (ETF) showed that “mRNA COVID-19 vaccines do not cause pregnancy complications for expectant mothers and their babies.”
