Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad stated, in the statement, that the campaign includes planting 1,000 trees around Hurghada University and planting 1,000 others in different places in the city.
Egypt began implementing the Presidential Initiative to plant 100 million trees in 9,900 sites across governorates on an area of up to 6600 acres suitable for tree forests or gardens and to provide the necessary agricultural seedlings.
