The program aims to enhance the quality of healthcare services and improve treatment outcomes for Egyptian citizens.
Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar launched a landmark project to support Sudanese patients suffering from kidney failure residing in Egypt.
Those are aged between 25 and 40.
Once a kidney disease case is identified, the patient is offered free treatment.
The president asked the minister to prepare studies necessary to introduce more kidney transplant centers.
