According to a Thursday statement, the climbing took place under the auspices of Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad and comes as an invitation to the whole world to visit Sinai and enjoy its spectacular nature.

Fouad said that she is proud of this event as it represents an actual step towards integrating Egypt’s handicapped in environmental activities. As part of this event, Fouad met on October 18 with Mazen Hamza, the First Egyptian handicapped mountain climber.
