CAIRO-1 January 2021: Al Ahly announced on Thursday night the signing of Congolese striker, Walter Bwalya, for the next four years.

Bwalya will wear the Red Jersey after playing one year and half for El Gouna, where he established himself as one of the promising talents in the Egyptian League.

The Congolese striker decided to join Al Ahly after being linked with a move to other clubs in the Egyptian League and different leagues in Africa. But at the end Bwalya decided to join Al Ahly and he will be ready to support the Red Devils in FIFA Club World Cup next February.

Al Ahly official website stated that the club’s Head of Marketing and Transfers, Amir Tawfik , finalized the deal with El Gouna’s representatives, without revealing the deal's financial details.

Bwalya had a sensational start to the Egyptian League new season, as he scored three goals to send his team atop of the table as they are unbeaten in the league after five games.
