Discussions continue over fan attendance in CAF Champions League final

CAIRO-19 November 2020: Egypt's Ministry of Youth and Sports Dr Ashraf Sobhy announced on Thursday that there is no confirmed decision regarding the attendance of fans in the CAF Champions League final.
 
"We are still discussing the possibility of fans' attendance in the CAF Champions League final with the concerned authorities." Dr Ashraf Sobhy said.
 
Al Ahly will face Zamalek in the first an all-Cairo Champions League final at Cairo stadium on 27 November.
 
Dr Ashraf Sobhy added "We will adhere to the precautionary measures in case the fans attended the match to ensure the safety of everyone." 
 
The game is expected to attract millions of football fans as the biggest rivals in the continent meet in the prestigious final for the first time in history.
 
The Red Devils aim to secure their 9th title in the competition and the first title since 2013 while the White Knights are searching for their first title in the competition since 2002.
