CAIRO-29 October 2020: Italy national team manager Roberto Mancini believes that the Serie a will witness a tough race for the league title this season.

“I don’t think we can already understand who will fight for the Scudetto, even if I think they will be the same.” Mancini said.

Juventus managed to win the Serie a title for the last nine seasons but this season it seems that they are not in their best form.

Mancini added “Napoli, with some purchases, seem to be competitive.”

Milan are leading the Italian league table with 13 points after five games. They only lost points against Roma in the fifth round of the league after a 3-3 draw.

Mancini commented on Milan’s strong start, saying “It seems to me that Milan have found their own dimension.”

Since the start of the pandemic, the Italian league matches are being played behind closed doors, which Mancini believes it had an impact on the results of the matches.

He continued “The advantage of playing at home falls a bit, so much that there are some strange results also in other Leagues.”
