Salah is back in action as Liverpool host Leeds on the opening day of the season

CAIRO-12 September 2020: Liverpool host newly-promoted Leeds United on Saturday afternoon on the opening day of the 2020-2021 Premier League season. 

 

Liverpool Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah and his teammates seek to have a strong start to the season as they aim to defend their Premier League title. 

 

Liverpool have been successful last season as they won the Premier League title for the first time since 1990. 

 

Liverpool will have a tough game against Leeds United, led by Argentinan tactical master, Marcelo Bielsa, who led the team to seal promotion to the top division for the first time in 17 years. 

 

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp commented on facing Bielsa, saying "I’m really looking forward to meeting him. He is an inspiration for all coaches because what he is doing, he sticks to it and really pushes it through and is successful with it. That makes him a very, very interesting figure in this business.”
