CAIRO-15 August 2020: Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Thomas Muller received the Man of the Match award after he produced a magnificent performance in Bayern's victory over Barcelona in Lisbon.

The German star scored two goals to lead his team to achieve a remarkable 8-2 win over Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

"Thanks for the man of the match trophy – maybe we have 12 to 15 players who deserve it. We worked so hard and have this intensity." Muller said after the game.

Muller and Philippe Coutinho both scored two goals for the Bavarian giants while Robert Lewandowski, Joshua Kimmich, Ivan Perisic and Serge Gnabry added the other four goals.

The German added "It's tough to beat us. It was so much fun. For our style of play it doesn't matter about the names of players we are facing."

The German giants will face the winner between Manchester City and Olympique Lyonnais who will meet on Saturday night.

Muller continued "The other teams will watch our game and they can be impressed or not. We start at 0-0 and have to win the next game."
