CAIRO – 24 June 2017: Lionel Messi refuses to exclude playing in China from his career plans. Messi wants to stay in Barcelona, but he always says that no one knows the future.

“Staying at Barca is what I’ve always wanted, what I always dreamt of and what I always said I’d do, But I wouldn’t say moving to China is impossible,” Messi told Mirror.com

30 years old Messi added, “Anything can happen in football, but today I’ll tell you no it hasn’t crossed my mind.”

Messi is a 5 time Ballon d’Or winner, has won 4 Champions League titles with Barcelona, 8 Spanish League titles, and 5 Spanish Cups with the Catalan club.

Lionel Messi joined Barcelona when he was 13 after moving from Argentina, and he has been playing in Barcelona first team since he was 17.

Messi has a contract with Barcelona through 2018, and the negotiations of his contract extension is expected to reach an end soon.
