Al-Ahly former striker and currently Smouha player, Salah Mohsen, revealed his talks with Liverpool's player Mohamed Salah regarding joining the English team.

"I have never said what I'm going to say now; this is the first time" Salah Mohsen said in his interview with ON Time Sport channel.

"Mohamed Salah spoke to me once during our time in the national team and asked me about the remainder of my contract with Al-Ahly, at that time I told him that I joined the team recently," Salah revealed.

"Salah told me that Liverpool wanted to sign me and that they were talking about me very well, and they might also talk to Al-Ahly management." He added.

"Salah also revealed that Liverpool wanted to talk to Al-Ahly, but they fear that Al-Ahly administration will refuse the offer." Salah Mohsen said.

"I hope that one day I will play in the English Premier League. The dream is not far." Smouha player concluded.

Salah Mohsen, 21, joined Al-Ahly from Enppi in 2018. He participated in Al-Ahly in 32 games and succeeded in scoring 8 goals and making one assist, before he went on loan to Smouha in the last transfer market.

At the international level, Salah Mohsen participated in 3 games with the Egyptian national team, among them facing Tunisia in the qualifiers for the AFCON.
