CAIRO – 27 February 2020: Zamalek manager, Patrice Carteron, announces the White Knights squad for the clash against Tunisian giants, Esperence, at CAF Champions League quarter-finals first leg, scheduled on Friday in Cairo.

Zamalek will miss their attacking midfielder, Youssef Obama, who suffered from a slight knee injury but he will be ready for the second leg in Tunisia.

Zamalek squad for the game consists of:

Goalkeepers:
Mohamed Abo Gabal, Mahmoud Gennesh

Defenders:
Mahmoud Alaa, Mahmoud Hamdi, Abdullah Gomaa, Hazem Imam, Mohamed Abdelshafi, Mohamed Abdelsalam

Midfielders:
Tariq Hamed, Ferjani Sassi, Mohamed Hassan, Ahmed Sayed "Zizou", Mohamed Antar, Mahmoud Abdel Razek "Shikabala", Mohamed Ounajem, Achraf Bencharki

Strikers:
Mostafa Mohamed and Kabongo Kasongo

This game will be a repeat of CAF Super Cup clash which ended with a 3-1 victory for the Egyptian side who clinched their fourth Super Cup title.

Zamalek players aim to continue their continental success in recent years as the club won CAF Confederation Cup title last season, which is their first continental title since 2003.
