Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian star in Liverpool, was in a good mood after he scored against Manchester United for the first time in his history.

Salah finally broke his fast against Manchester United by scoring the second goal for Liverpool in a 2-0 victory, as he was unable to score in their net with four previous encounters.

Sky Sports reporter asked Salah about his opinion on Liverpool's victory over United after drawing 1-1 in the Premier League first stage.

"I returned from injury and so we won," Salah said, laughing. "I got the pass this time from Alisson and this is amazing."

The Egyptian star was absent from the first stage match at Old Trafford due to an ankle injury.

And on the top of the league table, Salah said, "We have to focus, because we suffered in such a period last season and we should not think beyond the next match."

Liverpool continued their victories, beating host Manchester United 2-0, at Anfield Stadium in the 23rd round of the English Premier League.

The victory put Liverpool to 64 points in first place, 16 points behind second-placed Manchester City, with one match for the Reds remains.
