Estadat Holding is organizing the Best African Player ceremony which will be held in Egypt next month, the company announced.


Estadat statement said: "Beck Albatros, which has marketing and commercial rights, chose the best player award in Africa this year, in agreement with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to assign the organizational work, production, photographing and directing the ceremony to the National Estadat Holding Company."

"The contracts were signed by the stadiums of Mohamed Kamel, CEO and Managing Director, and Kamel Abu Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beck Albatros Company, in the presence of Moaz Hajji, Secretary General of the Confederation of African Football."

The statement concluded, "With this, the announcement ceremony for the best awards in Africa this year 2019 will become a pure Egyptian in rights, sponsorship, organization, television production and broadcasting, and will be held on one of the most beautiful places of Egypt, Sahl Hasheesh, in Hurghada, on January 7, and in the presence of world stars in football."

Mohamed Salah is competing for the award for the best African player for the third time in a row after winning it last two years, this time against his teammate in Liverpool, Senegalese Sadio Mane and his rival in Manchester City, the Algerian Riyad Mahrez.

Tarek Hamed is also competing for the title of Best player in African club competitions, against the Algerian Youssef Bailaili, former Esperance star and the current Al-Ahly player in Jeddah, and the Tunisian, Anis El-Badry.
