The world men's squash championship squash tournament kicks off in Washington State, USA.

The Egyptian team participates among 23 teams participating in the championship held until 21 December.

Egypt's four-team team is represented by Ali Farag, Tarek Moamen, Karim Abdel-Gawad and Mohamed Abul-Ghar.

Egypt is in the first group, next to the American and Swiss teams, and the first of each group qualifies directly to the quarter-finals without competing in the 16th round.

The Egyptian team plays at 8:00 pm Egypt time (an 8-hour difference with Washington) against USA in the opening match.

Egypt will face the Swiss team at 8:00 pm on, Monday, at the end of the group stage, before the quarter-final starts from Wednesday.

The Egyptian champions are considered to have won the championship 4 times before, and they are trying to equal the 5 title by England.

Australia is on the list of most crowned teams with 8 times, followed by Pakistan with 6 times.
