CAIRO – 13 December 2019: Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, announced on Friday that he has reached an agreement with the club to extend his contract until 2024.

“When I see the development of the club and the collaborative work that continues to take place, I feel my contribution can only grow.” Klopp said after signing his new contract.

The German manager reshaped the club since he was appointed as the club manager in 2015 as he reestablished the club as one of the best in the world.

Klopp’s best achievement came last summer when he led the Reds to clinch their sixth UEFA Champions League title after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at the final.

Klopp added ““For anyone in football who aspires to compete in an environment where every element of the organisation is at its very best – from the support of the supporters to the vision of the owners – there can be no better place than this.”

Liverpool fans put all their hopes on the German to get the Premier League title to the club who did not lift the prestigious award since 1990.

Liverpool have a comfortable lead as they gained 46 points after 16 games, dropping only two points against Manchester United and they are 8 points clear ahead of the second placed, Leicester City.
