The International Association of Squash Professionals (IAAF) announced the world rankings for December and kept Farag and Raneem Al Welily at the top.

Nour El-Sherbini returned to the women's world rankings after falling to fourth place last month and crowning the world championship against the pyramids.

Hania Al-Hamami entered the list of the top 10 players by reaching the semi-finals of the World Championship, to include the list of 5 players from Egypt, including the first four players.

At the men's level, the duo Ali Farag and Mohammed Al-Shorbagi remained in first and second place despite the absence of Farag from the last World Championship for family circumstances.

Karim Abdel-Gawad climbed to third place with good results last month, while Tarek Mo'men dropped to fourth despite winning the World Championship.

The top 10 players in the world included six Egyptian players.

The Egyptian players were classified as follows:

1 - Ali Faraj

2 - Mohammed Shorbaji

3 - Karim Abdel Gawad

4 - Tariq Momen

8 - Mohamed Abou El Ghar

9 - Marwan Shorbaji
