The coaching staff of the Egyptian Olympic team is trying to find a solution to face the injuries that hit the team in the first match against Mali.

Egypt defeated Mali 1-0 in the first match of the U-23 AFCON group stage thanks to Mostafa Mohamed goal.

The Egyptian midfielder, Nasser Maher, had an injury against Mali as dislocated shoulder and he was excluded from the team's squad for the rest of the tournament.

Also, the attacking duo Salah Mohsen and Mostafa Mohamed suffered minor injuries during the match.

The coaching staff advised in coordination with the fitness coach, Kamal Abdel Wahed, to make a rehabilitation program for the players.
