Dembele ruled out of Barcelona squad for trip to Levante

CAIRO – 2 November 2019: Barcelona manager, Ernesto Valverde, excluded the team French winger, Ousmane Dembele, from the team squad that will face Levante on Saturday at the league.

The player missed Barca ‘s two victories over Eibar and Real Valladolid for suspension as the player was sent off during Barca’s 4-0 victory over Sevilla.

Valverde’s squad for the game consists of:
Goalkeepers:
Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Neto.

Defenders: Nelson Semedo, Gerard Pique, Jean-Clair Todibo, Clement Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Junior Firpo.

Midfielders: Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Arthur Melo, Sergi Roberto, Frenkie de Jong, Arturo Vidal.

Forwards: Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Carles Perez, Ansu Fati.

“Levante are a team that try to press high and that have many offensive solutions. It is one of those matches in which anything can happen.” Valverde warned his players before the game.

Barcelona returned to the right track at the league after a frustrating start and they are leading the league table with 22 points, only one point ahead of their arch rivals Real Madrid.
