Ahmed Fathi, the player of Al-Ahly and Egypt, revealed the end of the crisis of the captain's badge before it starts, expressing satisfaction with the end of the crisis.


Ahmed Fathi said during the statements of Saif Zaher on On Sport: "Praise be to God that the crisis is over before it starts,"

The Egyptian national team coach, Hossam El-Badri, commented on the current issue regarding the captaincy of the Pharaohs in the next phase.

El-Badri said in statements to On Sport channel, that he would prefer the captain of the national team to be present on the pitch continuously and not be present in the starting lineup irregularly, because the role of the captain is great both inside and outside the pitch.

The national team coach continued that there is no change in the principle of selecting the national team captain, which is seniority, stressing that he will apply this principle during his presence in the national team in the coming period, refusing to mention names.

Hossam El-Badri stressed that he is very convinced of the capabilities Kahraba, adding that he was not disturbed by the critics of the fans on his choice of the Pharaohs list in the next camp.

El-Badri said that the selection of Kahraba serves the interest of the national team, pointing out that his choices in the last two camps are not final as he relies on some of the names in the Olympic team.

Egypt national team manager, Hossam El Badry, announced the list of foreign based players who will join the team for 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

The list also included Mohamed Salah, Mohamed Elneny, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Ahmed Hegazi, Mahmoud Kahraba and Ahmed Hassan Koka.
