Egypt coach Hossam El-Badri has announced his request for a new friendly match for the Pharaohs before facing Kenya and Comoros.

Egypt faces Kenya on November 14 in the first round of African qualifiers for the African Nations Cup.

El-Badri said: "We are already trying to play a new friendly before facing Kenya, specifically in November 8."

"We have called Djibouti and Liberia to try to play a friendly against one of them," he said after the match between Zamalek and Arab contractors.

"Our goal is to try the local players, especially with the difficulty of the professionals participating in that friendly because of their commitment with their clubs."

And about the choices of the coaching staff, El-Badri stressed: "the door of joining the team is open to everyone."

"We are following all the matches and all the players and we will join players according to our needs to treat the crises," he said.

Egypt beat Botswana 1-0 in their first match under Hossam Badri.
