CAIRO – 30 August 2019: Barcelona will have a tough start at the new season of UEFA Champions League as the draw put the Catalan club at the group of death.

Barcelona was drawn in Group F alongside Slavia Prague, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund.

During the last two season, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund strengthened their squads and they are ready again to challenge for the title.

"It's a strong group by name and I've always had a lot of respect for Slavia [Prague], it's a strong group, in the end it will come down to how we play.” Barcelona sporting director, Amor, said.

Barcelon suffered a humiliating elimination last season as they suffered a 4-0 loss to Liverpool, who won the Champions League title last season.

What made the loss harder for the fans is the first leg result which saw Barcelona defeating the Reds 3-0 after a wonderful display from the Catalan hero, Lionel Messi.

Amor added “We have the experience of last year and the year before. We will be concentrated and will be mentally stronger this year,"
