CAIRO - 28 July 2019: When the clock points to 8:00 p.m., the Egyptian & Arab fans will spend a thriller night watching. Al Ahly & Zamalek will have an important clash at Borg El Arab stadium in the last match in Egyptian league.
Al-Ahly defeated Arab Contractors 3-1 on Wednesday night at Borg El Arab Stadium to secure the team’s 41st Egyptian League Title.
At the same time in Cairo, Al-Ahly rivals, Zamalek, defeated Ismaily 3-1 to reach 72 points but Al-Ahly’s victory sent them points to win the title regardless the last round’s result.
Zamalek players hope to reconcile their fans after losing the league title when they face Al-Ahly on Sunday at Cairo Derby.
Despite the match between two giants will not change anything, but it’s still an important game for both teams. Zamalek need to bring joy to their fans after losing the Egyptian League title. While Al Ahly will celebrate with the fans, the Reds don’t want any surprises that may affect their joy.
