CAIRO – 9 June 2017: CAF has announced who the referees will be in Al-Ahly vs. Wydad match that will be held in Casbalanca at Mohamed the Fifth stadium on June 21 in the fourth round of CAF African Champions’ League group stages.

CAF has chosen the Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe as the main referee, with Jerson Dos Santos and Thothi Sobla as assistant referees, and Wellington Kauma from Zambia as the fourth.

Janny Sikazwe is commonly known for refereeing the final of the African Cup of Nations in January 2017 between Egypt and Cameroon. In this match, Cameroon won Egypt 2-1. Also, he was the referee of last Club World Cup final that was held in Japan between Real Madrid and Kashima Antlers. The match ended 4-2 in favor of Real Madrid.

Al-Ahly has beaten Wydad 2-0 in the last match between them, that was held in Borg al-Arab stadium on June 4.
