CAIRO, 23 May 2019: After five consecutive victories, Al Ahly stumbled for the first time, since their defeat against Pyramids FC, when they drew with Ismaily SC 1-1.

Ismaily hosted Al Ahly at Borg El Arab stadium on Wednesday night at 10:00 p.m. in a postponed game from the 18th round of the Egyptian League.

Walid Azarou took the lead for Al Ahly in the 73rd minute when he headed the ball inside Ismaily's goalkeeper net.

In the 84Th minute, Karim Bambo, former Al Ahly player, leveled the score for Ismaily.

Al Ahly kept their leadership on the top of the Egyptian league table with 74 points from 32 games.

The rivalry continues between Egyptian giants, Al Ahly & Zamalek, as the White knights place third with 66 points with three games less than Al Ahly.

While Ismaily raised their points to 42 in the seventh place after playing 32 games.
