CAIRO – 7 June 2017: Al-Ahly coach Hossam el-Badry has shown his confidence in being able to sign the 21 year old striker Walid Azaro who plays at the Moroccoan Difaa Hassani El Jadidi.

“By a great percentage Azaro will be an Al-Ahly player soon. We scouted him and we know that he is an amazing player. Azaro is also one of the best 3 local players in Morroco,” said Badry to Al-Ahly’s official channel.

Al-Ahly has seen recently a shortage in strikers after the escape of the Ivorian Souleymane Coulibaly who fled to England and the injury of Marwan Mohsen. Emad Meteab, Amr Gamal, and Junior Ajayi are the only strikers that the club has at the moment.

Al-Ahly is expected to play Smouha on June 16, followed by an important match against Wydad Casablanca on June 22 in the CAF African Champions League tournament.
