CAIRO – 25 February 2019: Liverpool lost another two points at the Premier League title race after their goalless draw against Manchester United on Sunday at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester.

The team attacking line of Mohamed Salah, Sadio mane and Roberto Firmino failed to break the defense of Manchester United and they did not create many chances to score especially after the substitution of Firmino who suffered an injury during the first half.

“I am not here to be disappointed; I am here to help the players to play their best football. The start of the game I liked a lot. But then something happened and we lost the rhythm and it was not that good anymore, that’s the truth.” Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, said.

Liverpool are leading the Premier League table with 66 points and they are only one point ahead of the defending champions, Manchester City.

Klopp commented on Salah’s display, saying “Mo (Salah) knows he can play better than he did today, we know he can. “

Salah failed to shine at Old Trafford and he produced one of his poorest performances at the Premier League and was substituted after 79 minutes.
