CAIRO – 12 January 2018: Al Ahly faces Vita Club on Saturday evening, 9:00 p.m., in the first round of the group stage in the African Champions League.

Lasarte settled on the line-up that will start the African journey; it includes three new comers who joined the reds in the current winter transfer market.

Ramadan Sobhy, coming from English Premier League’s Huddersfield Town, is set to start the third match with Al Ahly after playing against Pyramids FC and Smouha in the Egyptian League.

Lasarte didn’t decide yet if he will give Hussein El-Shahat, coming from Emirati’s Al-Ain, his debut with Al Ahly or he will depend on Nasser Maher.

Marawan Mohsen will start the game especially after Walid Azaro has been injured to join Al Ahly’s injuries list which includes Salah Mohsen, Giraldo, Mohamed Mahmoud, Ahmed Fathy and Saad Samir.

Al Ahly’s expected line-up for the clash against Vita Club is:
GK: Mohamed El Shenawy
DEF: Mohamed Hany, Ayman Ashraf, Yasser Ibrahim, Ali Maaloul
MID: Hesham Mohamed, Amr el-Soleya, Ramadan Sobhy, Walid Soliman, Hussein el-Shahat
ATT: Marwan Mohsen
