CAIRO – 1 November 2018: Saudi Arabia will play two friendly games against Yemen and Jordan to prepare for their participation at 2019 Asian Cup in UAE.

The team known as Green Falcons will host Yemen on November 16 in Dammam before travelling to Amman to face Jordan four days later.

The team preparations for the competition continue in December when the team will start their closed camp to be ready for the tournament.

The Asian Cup draw put Saudi Arabia in Group E alongside Lebanon, North Korea and Qatar.

Saudi Arabia hopes to achieve their fourth title in the competition as they won the title three times in 1984, 1988 and 1996.

The Green Falcons, who lost the Asian Cup Final in 2007, failed to pass the group stage in the last two editions and they hope for achieving better results at the tournament in UAE.

UAE hosts the Asian Cup between January 5 and February 1st.
