CAIRO – 6 August 2018: Al-Ahly’s French manager Patrice Carteron announced on Monday a squad of 20 players for the game against Al-Masry on Tuesday at the Egyptian League.

Al-Ahly players had a frustrating start at the league, as they ended their opening game against Ismaily with a 1-1 draw.

Al-Ahly veteran midfielders Ahmed Fathy and Walid Soliman were included in the list after missing the Ismaily game due to an injury.

Carteron’s chosen squad for the game consists of Sherif Ekramy, Mohamed el-Shennawy, Ali Lotfi, Ahmed Fathi, Mohamed Hany, Ali Maaloul, Saad Samir, Ayman Ashraf, Salif Coulibaly, Amr Elsolia, Hossam Ashour, Hesham Mohamed, Mido Gaber, Walid Soliman, Moamen Zakaria, Nasser Maher, Mohamed Sherif, Walid Azarro, Marwan Mohsen and Salah Mohsen.

Al-Ahly midfielder Eslam Mohareb was ruled out of the game after suffering a muscle injury.

On the other hand, Al-Masry is searching for their second victory at the League after a difficult 1-0 win at the opening game against El Gouna.

The game starts on Tuesday at 8:00 P.M. at Borg El-Arab Stadium.
