CAIRO – 30 June 2018: France and Argentina open the knockout phase of the 2018 World Cup, as the two teams will face each other at 04:00 p.m. (CLT) at Kazan Arena.
Messi and his fellows managed to qualify from the group stage after a very weak performance in the first two matches which could have caused their elimination, as what happened to Germany which left the tournament from the group stage, but the Argentinean men managed to defeat Nigeria 2-1 in the last match thanks to Rojo who sent a relief shot to find themselves in front of the runners-up of the 2016 Euro, France.
Both teams announced their line-ups for the awaited game.
While the second match of the 16th will be between Uruguay and the 2016 Euro champions, Portugal, which will be hosted by Fisht Stadium at 08:00 p.m. (CLT).
Cristiano Ronaldo will lead his team-mates to fight and continue their path in the world tournament, against Barcelona’s striker, El Pistolero, Luis Suarez and his fellows who are coming to the knockouts very relieved as Uruguay was playing in the weakest group alongside with Russia, Saudi Arabia and Egypt the team which failed to achieve a single point in WC.
