CAIRO - 17 May 2017: Al-Ahly club officials have laid a condition for signing with Gabonese international striker Malick Evouna who plays for Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League, during the summer transfer window.

The condition states Evouna to breach his contract with his club amicably and play for Al-Ahly for free.

An informed source in Al-Ahly confirmed that Evouna’s return is possible, but only if he plays for free, especially that there is a state of tension between the player and his club, thus the termination of the contract between the two parties is possible.

Al-Ahly SC coach Hossam al-Badry agreed on Evouna’s return, especially that he was an effective player in the team before he moved to Tianjin club.

Evouna joined Al-Ahly in 2015 and scored 12 goals in 24 matches. He became the most expensive player in Egyptian football history, worth $2.5 million.
