CAIRO – 15 May 2017: A British news outlet urges Newcastle coach Rafa Benitez to sign the international footballer and Roma’s winger Mohamed Salah on Sunday.

The British news outlet Here Is The City (HITC) stated that Newcastle, newly-promoted to the Primer League, showed interest in Chelsea's Christian Atsu, but they are better off looking into having Salah in their next season’s squad.

Having been compared to Atsu, Salah outclassed the Ghanaian striker in the HITC's reports which further said that, “the 24-year-old is playing the best football of his career and if he feels he has unfinished business in England, Newcastle should throw their hat into the ring."

Last season, Salah endured a disappointing spell with Chelsea where he made few appearances and was consigned to the subs bench.

Salah set a record for scoring plus assisting with his team Roma AS for the season, with a 13 goal-tally and 10 assists.
