CAIRO – 29 April 2018: David Alaba and Javi Martinez returned to participate with the team’s Sunday training session, in preparation for the Champions League’s semi-final against Real Madrid scheduled for Tuesday at Santiago Bernabeu.

Martinez has suffered from an injury in his head in the first match with Real Madrid last Wednesday, which ended with Madrid’s victory 2-1, while Alaba missed their CL’s game last week because he wasn’t ready yet to participate in games as he was recovering from an injury.

Bayern coaching staff headed by Heynckes is waiting for the final medical reports for the Dutch Arjen Robben who also was injured at Real Madrid’s game; the coach needs Robben badly as he’s now the only player they can count on to lead the Germans attack, after Robert Lewandowski’s poor performance in the first leg match.

The German team is on a hard mission as it would be difficult to win and continue its path to CL’s title, as a large number of the first line players are missed owing to injury such as Arturo Vida, Arjen Robben, Kingsley Coman, Jerome Boateng and Manuel Neuer.
