CAIRO – 7 February 2018: Al-Ahly manager Hossam el-Badry announced on Wednesday the team squad that will face Arab Contractors on Thursday night in the Egyptian League.

The game was postponed from the sixth week of the league due to Al-Ahly’s participation in the CAF Champions League.

Al-Ahly’s chosen squad for the game consists of: Mohamed El Shenawi, Ali Lotfi, Sherif Ekrami, Hisham Mohamed, Hossam Ashour, Abdullah El-Said, Junior Ajayi,Walid Azzaro, Salah Mohsen, Bassem Ali, Mohamed Hany, Mohamed Naguib, Ahmed Yasser Rayan, Mido Jaber, Islam Mohareb, Karim Nedved, Sabry Rahil, Ahmed Fathi, Mohamed Abdel Monem, Phakamani Mahlambi and Amr El Solia.

Badry did not recall club captain Hossam Ghaly, who has just returned to the club from his spell with Saudi Arabia’s Al Nasr.

Al-Ahly will miss: Walid Soliman, Saad Samir, Ali Maaloul, Ayman Ashraf, Marwan Mohsen, Ramy Rabia and Ahmed Hamoudi due to injury.

Al-Ahly tops the league with 54 points, and they are 9 points ahead of the second-placed Ismaily.
