CAIRO – 30 January 2018: Former Al-Ahly striker Amr Gamal is set to leave South African team Bidvest Wits after he received numerous offers for the next six months.

Mohamed Habashy, Gamal’s agent, revealed to Youm7 that his player has received some offers from European clubs in Greece, Switzerland and Germany.

"So far, Amr Gamal has not decided whether to return to Al-Ahly next summer as soon as he finishes his loan, or to end his professional career," Habashy said.

Amr Gamal joined Bidvest Wits from Al-Ahly on a one-year loan, but he failed to shine with the South African club, as he managed to score only two goals in 13 matches.

“Gamal is looking to participate with the Egyptian national team in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, then he can take his decision,” Habashy added.

Amr Gamal is reportedly linked with some South African clubs, SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates, who are interested in signing the Egyptian striker.

“Bidvest has the right to buy Gamal for $3 million if they want to, as listed in their contract,” Habashy concluded.
