CAIRO – 21 January 2018: Al-Ahly faces Misr el-Makasa on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in the 19th fixture of the Egyptian Premier League at Cairo Stadium.

Misr el-Makasa is the only team to take three points from Al-Ahly in the league this season, when they defeated Al-Ahly 3-2 on December 10.

Al-Ahly players hope to continue their amazing run after achieving four consecutive victories in the league against Petrojet, Al-Nasr, Zamalek and el-Gaish, which led Al-Ahly to top the league table with 42 points.

Al-Ahly manager Hossam el-Badry announced on Saturday the team squad for the Misr el-Makasa clash, and he included Al-Ahly midfielder Saleh Gomaa, who has been linked with a move to play at Saudi Arabian club Al-Faisley in January.

Al-Ahly’s chosen squad for the game against Misr el-Makasa consists of Mohamed El-Shennawy, Sherif Ikrami, Ramadan Mostafa, Ahmed Fathy, Ayman Ashraf, Saad Samir, Ali Maaloul, Amr El-Soulya, Abdullah El-Said, Junior Ajayi, Waleed Azarou, Mido Gaber, Walid Soliman, Mohamed Hany, Hisham Mohamed, Karim Nedved, Marwan Mohsen, Saleh Gomaa, Ahmed Hamoudi, Sabri Rahil and Islam Mahareb.
