CAIRO – 30 December 2017: Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima, the former FC Barcelona striker in the 1996/97 season, under the technical direction of Sir Bobby Robson, has assured that he feels more linked to Real Madrid, as he played there between 2002 and 2007, than the Barcelona team.

Ronaldo has assured in an interview to Esporte Interativo that "I feel much more grateful and more linked to Real Madrid, despite having lived my best year in Barcelona."

The player also ensures in the program Noite das Craques that "the end of my history in Barcelona was very bad, very similar to the one that Neymar lived now."

He added that the directors of FC Barcelona, at that time and in later years, did things wrong because "they did something similar with Romario and then repeated it with Ronaldinho Gaúcho".

In any case, Ronaldo Nazario made it clear that "despite everything, Barcelona is an incredible city, but I feel more linked to Real Madrid, with whom I already work as ambassador of the club".

In this regard, he commented that he likes to be an ambassador for Real Madrid because "I represent them, especially in Asia, and I feel linked to football again, my life is football, and I like football to develop and grow in all places of the world."
