CAIRO – 20 December 2017: In a surprise move, Etoile Sportive du Sahel officials have asked to sign Saleh Gomaa in a reciprocal deal with Mohamed Amin ben Omar in the winter transfer market.

Al Ahly SC officials are in the last phase of signing Mohamed ben Omar, Etoile Sportive du Sahel and Tunisian national team defender. This came after Hossam El-Badry, Al Ahly’s head coach, announcement that Al Ahly needs a center back, midfielder and striker in the next transfer market.

Etoile Sportive du Sahel Board of Directors stated that to sign Mohamed ben Omar, the deal to transfer Saleh Gomaa must be accepted by Al Ahly.

Previously, Sayed Abdel Hafiz, Al-Ahly`s football director, had decided to impose a fine on Saleh Gomaa, Al-Ahly's playmaker, as a punishment for his absence without permission from the reserves’ team training.

Al Ahly SC plays on Wednesday against Smouha SC in week 14 of the Egyptian Premier League.
