CAIRO – 15 December 2017: Pep Guardiola has been named “Manager of the Month” in the Premier League for the third consecutive month this season.

The Spaniard led Manchester City to four victories in four games in November. He became the second coach in as many seasons to win three Barclays Manager of the Month award in a row.

Manchester City defeated Arsenal, Leicester City, Huddersfield Town and Southampton in November.

Guardiola’s Manchester City top the Premier League, 11 points ahead of second-placed Manchester United.

This is the fourth time that Pep has won this award, previously having won it in September, October and February of last season.

The winner was selected through a combination of votes from a panel of experts and the public.

Pep Guardiola beat five other candidates; Antonio Conte, Chelsea’s manager, Sean Dyche, Burnley’s manager, Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s manager, Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager and Arsene Wenger, Arsenal’s manager.

Guardiola has accumulated 15 consecutive wins in the Premier League, which surpasses Arsenal's 2002 record.

Manchester City faces Tottenham on Saturday in the 18th round of the Premier League at 7:30 p.m. (CLT).
